The MLB Cooperstown Program celebrates the heritage and timeless appeal of baseball, drawing from the sport’s rich visual history. This collection reinterprets classic design aesthetics for modern apparel, blending retro typography, nostalgic layouts, and iconic baseball imagery to create graphics that feel authentic to the game’s golden era while remaining relevant to today’s fans.

Inspired by vintage baseball cards and collectible postcards, I built a flexible design system rooted in classic type treatments and structured layouts. To ensure adaptability across all MLB teams, I replaced traditional player portraits with universally recognizable elements — a retro cap and glove — allowing the graphic to scale league-wide while maintaining a cohesive vintage identity. The result balances historical authenticity with contemporary wearability.
